Luck found me once again when I had the good fortune to meet then-Presidential candidate Barack Obama, on his visit to local industries here in Bethlehem. A highlight for me was having the opportunity to speak with him and share ideas for supporting American companies and local workers.
Working with two wonderful women from my past: Darla Hoover, former New York City Ballet dancer and current Director of Ballet Academy East in NYC, and choreographer Lisa De Ribere from American Ballet Theater, on our second collaboration. These velvet costumes were the forerunner of our style 130 Sweetheart Leotard.
